Thanksgiving & A Family Affair (opening night)

The picture above helped me win a contest for a free Shutterfly photo book which will be used to make Hannah's Bye Bye Birdie scrapbook. Best use of red & green possible, I think.

The pictures below are from the opening night of A Family Affair.
A former cast-mate from Oliver came out to see the show.

Opening night was terrific for A Family Affair.
This is a comedy set in Russia. A widowed Princess Catherine is desperate to find a suitable wife for her son, Slava, who is a bit picky & is not fond of arranged marriage (think a male version of Jasmine). Worse yet is Slava's three sisters who make a mission of scaring away every eligible noble lady to be invited to the palace. Hannah was one of those scheming sisters-Yelena.  The story is filled with false rumors from the nosy servants. It also includes a shifty nephew of Princess Catherine, Anton (a flirt with roaming eye AND a fiancee), who the princess does not want to see as an heir to their throne should her son never marry & have children. Her last hope is a far distant relative of one of the servants-a baroness form Germany. A rather homely baroness. Spoiler: despite the problems that arise because of everyone's meddling, the two do fall in love.

More pics from nights 2,3, & 4 coming up.
