This is a mix of pictures from Thanksgiving and when Hannah & I went to watch the Surprise middle school cast perform in Charlotte's Web. Plus a sweet Christmas picture. 

Next up: Hannah & I will watch another cast perform in Ask Any Girl and Hannah has a TBQ meet.

Ask Any Girl closed last night. Hannah was a wonderfully sassy & sarcastic receptionist at the Madison Avenue Girls Hotel. We'll go back in time again with the Spring musical if it doesn't get changed from Bye Bye Birdie. Of course we go further back in time before that one when she performs in Beauty & the Beast in January. 

Next TBQ meet is in December but just for Hannah. Joshua didn't want to do the Acts Experience for meet #2 as he didn't think he could memorize it quick enough. He's working on the material for meet #3 instead. 

Looking forward to Thanksgiving now:)

At Chick-Fil-A after the show. 

Hannah's cast for Ask Any Girl blasted us back to the 60's. "Meg Wheeler" is tired of being stifled in her small Pennsylvania town where there are no men to marry. So she talks her family into allowing her to move to New York to find a suitable suitor. She stays at a girls hotel where all the girls are trying to find a husband. Hannah plays "Ada", a somewhat sarcastic girl who answers the phones at the hotel. There is some market research going on which leads to 4 men visiting the hotel and mates are found for 3 ladies. These pictures are from opening night but I'm posting them after the second show. The kids did great both nights while there's one more show tomorrow afternoon.

Here are the state fair pictures that pretty much speak for themselves. In the culinary and home arts competitions, the kids made $100. Hannah made $53 & Joshua made $47. The fair is judging student art differently this year with blue,red, or white instead of 1st-4th place or honorable mentions so it's hard to say how well they did there.

The baby goat eating Hannah's shoelace is Gus Gus. He made news because someone "kidnapped" him. Literally. Someone was able to get him out of the petting zoo & off the fairgrounds. He was on all the news channels because he was only 5 weeks old & needed his mama. He was found near a canal & brought to a pet store before being reunited with his mama. He was missing about 22 hours if I remember & you could tell he was happy to see his mom & get some food. Poor little guy.
