We got back from California late on Friday night & the kids both had their first TBQ meet of the season on Saturday morning. Let's just say that not much review went on during our vacation. They quizzed over Acts chapters 1-8.
The girlz went undefeated in 5 matches and all three girlz were in the top 4 for high individual points. Multiple quiz outs. This was not surprising.
Joshua & a former team mate in JBQ formed a team to compete in the Acts Experience which is an intro league for people new to TBQ. It's not as daunting as "A" league. They only had to learn Acts chapter 2. There were supposed to be a couple other teams in this league but they didn't show up so the boys quizzed against the middle school league which is right between Joshua's league & Hannah's league. They had 4 matches and went 2/2. The other middle school teams also had a record of 2/2 so it came down to points. Joshua's team came in 1st by having more points over the middle school teams. Pretty darn good for 2 boys new to TBQ. Especially since Joshua didn't review all week & his team mate still does JBQ. Both boys had a quiz out which in TBQ, means they answered 5 questions correctly,get bonus points, and are out of the rest of the match. It's not impossible but it is harder to win these things with a 2 person team.
