Valentine's Day Cupcake Wars Party

Joshua and the gang of girls. And two girls were sick and couldn't make it!
Hannah's cupcakes below: The Valentine's one is obvious. Her Spring one is a blue M&M flower with a nest of "marshmallow" birds eggs. Her homeschool cupcake is a comfy bed complete with marshmallow pillows & a gummy bear teddy bear, some Starburst books, and a crooked pencil. The bed represents that homeschoolers get to sleep in. Nice!
Joshua's cupcakes above. His Valentine's one is obvious as well. His Spring one has a butterfly, worms in the grass, & Swedish Fish swimming in a stream. Now I'm a little concerned as to why his homeschool cupcake is some bearded/moustache guy. ???? Hope it's not a depiction of his teacher:)

This last picture I'm adding is from the Art & Poetry Fair and Ice Cream Social. They just brought some art they entered in the state fair so I didn't post pictures since those are posted in the state fair post. Hannah also brought one of the scarves she 's been busy making AND selling. She's made over $200 in 2013 alone! Don't tell the IRS though.

On Valentine's Day we went to a friend's house for a cupcake wars party. The 3 themes of the cupcakes were Valentine's Day (of course), Spring, and homeschool. You can see some of the creations above. They had fun decorating & then worked off the cupcakes they ate by playing for hours with their friends-especially on the trampoline. They were exhausted when we got home. Good times, good times.
