More Road Trip, Art of Animation, & Disney Springs

We took a quick trip through New Orleans & stayed the night. Not a highlight of the trip. We prefer Disneyland's New Orleans Square over the real world version. Yucky. Moving on.......

Before Hannah's Disney Store closed down, they said any vacations that were planned would still be honored so thankfully we had this trip planned with her discount at the Art of Animation Resort. We had a regular room but when we checked in found out we were upgraded to the Lion King Suite. We've never had such a nice room-apart from being on the beach in Hawaii which was more like a duplex house. Anyway, here's some pics of the areas. Below is the living room with a pull out bed & "kitchen" area with a fridge, microwave, sink, & storage.

Above is the view from the couch.
This is the bedroom for me & Todd.
Above is the bathroom for me & Todd.
Above is the shower curtain in the kids' bathroom & below is their bathroom areas.
Below is a the kitchen table that folds down to a bed. It wasn't super comfortable so the kids switched off sleeping on it every night with the sofabed. It's cute though. Having two bathrooms was a huge time saver and the extra space was handy along with the fridge. We were on the first floor so near the front of the resort so easy parking lot access after a long day or to the front desk & pool even though we didn't swim. We were SO thankful for this surprise upgrade!
Below are pics of the lobby.

Below is a pic from inside the Grand Floridian Hotel. We were there because Hannah & I had a reservation to eat there but the boys didn't want to:)

Hannah & her "Minnie" Me. AKA her Minnie Nuimo. Minnie & Winnie the Pooh will be in more pics. Keep your eye out.

Disney Springs......

Lego creations.
A Lego sea Serpent...

We rode the Sky Liner a few times.

Another view of the Lego Sea Serpent & a pic of Crush at the hotel.

A few more Sky Liner pics.

Next batches will have the big event-our first trip to DisneyWorld after all these years at Disneyland.
