We decided to do one park per day tickets over park hoppers to save money. We did 3 days at Disneyland & 2 at California Adventure. We started day 1 in DCA. Hannah & I had high hopes of meeting Loki.
The blurry pic above is in a small "shop" in Carsland that you just can look in. This was a hidden "easter egg" of Buzz under a cone from Toy Story 2. I thought it was clever. Hannah pointed it out to me.
I was very angry that the Hollywood Tower Hotel/Tower of Terror was going to be made over into the Guardians of the Galaxy/Mission Breakout. I wanted it left alone. But I was soooo wrong. I love this ride so much! I like the theming but mostly that you don't know when the drops are going to happen now & there's cool music and humor.
With the lunchbox from Captain Marval
Joshua has always hated the Tower of Terror. We got him to try this again because it's been a long time so maybe he'd enjoy it now. Nope. He still hates it as you can see in the pic. So after this one ride he went off on his own to ride Monsters Inc when the 3 of us went on it. Then he tried the Animation Academy & really liked it so he'd go back there when we rode it. We ended up liking the Animation Academy too & did it several times. Hannah told us about it from one of her trips with her friends. I didn't think I'd like it because I can't draw good stick figures. There will be pics of our drawings in this post & more coming up.
Spiderman didn't really like the Team Loki shirts.
Joshua got this lemonade whip while Todd & Hannah went on the Incredicoaster. Another changed ride. But Joshua & I don't like it because you go upside down once. I wish I liked it!
The Black Panther & his bodyguard did not trust us because of the Loki shirts. Poor Loki. He's so misunderstood.
Loki DID like our shirts.
The above pic is from the Animation Academy were they teach a large group how to draw basic character step by step.

This is just part one of our five days in the parks. Much more to come.
