What a relief when this secret was exposed.
The surprise is still sinking in while we're in line.
Right in the gates we got this one.
Ah, feels like home.
Our first pictures ever with Oswald! Oswald posed the bottom picture for us in honor of the birthday girl.
I'm not sure what made Joshua decide to go on California Screamin' again but you can see how enthused he is on the loop below.
We had given Hannah a choice (knowing what she'd choose!) of a birthday party with friends or a vacation with family. Having chose family, we began her birthday trip but we kept certain parts of it secret from her. The plan, as she knew it, was that we'd go to Coronado Island, drive up to Anaheim on her b-day for eating & shopping,we'd go to Knott's Berry Farm on Wed and the beach on Thurs, then we'd return home on Friday. BUT the real plan was to go to Coronado, drive to Anaheim on her b-day but surprise her with tickets to Disneyland. There would be no Knott's or beach.
Disneyland opened at 8am on that Tuesday so we had to leave San Diego very early so we could park the van at our hotel & walk over to the gates as close to 8am as we could. Once we got to the gate area, we decided we should go to the bathroom. We stop at those bathrooms often when we go:) So I magically "remembered" at that moment to give her the birthday card I had made which just happened to have 4 day hopper tickets tucked inside. She was a little confused at first but we started to pull her to the lines while it started to sink in. She was in disbelief for awhile. MANY more pictures to come.
