Coronado Island

We made a quick trip to the Disney Store to make final purchases & had lunch at Shakey's before heading down to San Diego/Coronado Island. These first 3 pics are at the Lego Store.

On the first day at Downtown Disney, the boys went to play at the ESPN Zone while Hannah & I took awhile browsing the Disney Store. Joshua was bummed that the bubble hockey game was out of order. He insisted we check it out again to see if it was fixed. We were doubtful it would be but we were wrong.

The next 3 pics are the view from our balcony.

Saw this cruise ship leaving the harbor.

While sand dollar hunting, we came across several live ones which we threw back.

Lots of bird pics for Joshua.

On Wednesday of the trip, we headed to Coronado Island. We walked the beach, of course. We scheduled a whale watch cruise for Thursday but while we were eating lunch on Thurs, the company called us to say it was canceled because of large swells. The Coast Guard said "no go" so we took a chance & re-booked for Friday morning instead. We were leaving Friday so we were really hoping the ocean would cooperate before we had to leave. It did cooperate & we did go on the cruise before heading home. Those pictures will be next:)

Knott's Berry Farm

Joshua & I had this picture taken while Todd & Hannah were on the Silver Bullet.

Todd & Hannah on this thing.......

Hannah & I on the Supreme Scream.

 Todd, alone, on the Excelerator.

The pic above is the main part of the Excelerator which is why Todd went alone.

Todd & Hannah on this thing......

We were trying to re-create a funny hat picture from last year but getting these two to cooperate is not fun. So take your pick on your favorite because none of them look like last year's picture.

Another re-do of an original picture but the first time was when Joshua was 18 months old. We tried it last year but the sun was in his eyes so he was irritated with me & it showed in the pic:)

Joshua's desserts. Hannah got a cookie too but was in the shower when I took this pic.
I've managed to get all the Knott's pictures into one post. Since we were just there last April, I think I took less pictures. Plus Knott's doesn't let you bring cameras on most rides. We finally got to try the Ghost Rider this trip which we all loved. The last two times we went, it was down for refurbishment. The very first trip was when the kids were too small to ride so I didn't try it at all. We stayed two nights at the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel before heading to Coronado Island/Navy Lodge. Those pics coming soon.
