Navy Pier~Last day in Chicago -or the vicinity:)

 Waiting for a ride on the subway like total tourists.

On our last day in the vicinity of Chicago, we decided to go downtown to the Navy Pier to walk around. We had lunch, walked the pier,took a Lyft to Millenial Park to see the Bean, and rode the subway before returning rental cars to the airport. We had a late flight out & were happy to be home. It was an amazing experience to close out Hannah's senior year in Bible Quiz.

Misc Summer Happenings....

 Hannah & I went to see Seussical the Musical a few weeks ago because it's one of our favorite shows & some of her friends were in it.

 Joshua's teen group (within the homeschool group) went to a place called Main Event where they played laser tag,bowled,& did this rope thingy way up above the game section. Sorry about the bad lighting in this place.

This batch is a bunch of misc fun. They had other get togethers with friends but no pics.

Nationals Banquet

I'm finally up to Friday night of Nationals week. After the arboretum & late lunch, we went back to the hotel to freshen up for the banquet. The seniors gathered together for an intro as they crossed the stage & then took their seats. We were served dinner,awards & scholarships were given out, and there was an East vs West match that the West lost. Hannah had applied for a couple scholarships prior to leaving AZ & she won one of them for $1500. It was a surprise & a bit unexpected but very cool, of course. 

The next day we had a late flight back home so we went to downtown Chicago for some sightseeing. Those pictures should be up next.
