Honk! Shows #7,#8, and #9

 Since Hannah shared her cold with me, I was too sick to go to show #7. Todd took her but I still needed pictures before they left.

This is my final batch of Honk! "after show" pictures from shows 7-9. We should be getting the dvd and cd of action shots at the cast party later today. Then I'll have A LOT more to post. The shows were all phenomenal. 

I got the Stardust media this weekend so I'll be posting those too.

Honk! Show #3 & #4

Shows #3 and #4 were both on a Saturday so I've combined them into one entry. Todd finally got to see it so I got my family shot. I know some of the frogette pics look like duplicates but I was trying to get better shots on Saturday by taking these behind or to the side of the staff photographer. I know her pictures will be better quality once we get the CD from Moezart but I couldn't resist getting a sneak preview in.

Our frogette!

I have a bunch of pictures. These are the first real batch as I post from opening night. There have been 5 shows so far and 4 more to go. I figured I better get started. 

Hannah starts off in the first song as some sort of poultry. Most of the farmyard birds are in some form of brown. She sings with 5 other girls during a sad song in the Elegy scene. Her biggest role is as a frogette (think Rockette) in the bullfrog scene or "Warts & All" song. I love that song! Then she sings with 5 other ladies during the blizzard song.

Rattlers game

Here are a few pics from the Rattlers game we went to a couple weeks ago. Joshua took most of the pictures (except the last one!). Hannah & I met the boys at the game because we were at the homeschool convention. The convention center was a very short walk from the arena. We missed part of the game because we were waiting to see if we won $100 for a raffle contest based on receipts from purchases. We did not win anything:( As soon as that was over we met up with them. We have 3 games with our Pogo Pass. The boys went to one game without us in June. We'll go to the 3rd game in August.

I just needed to sneak these pics in before I flood the blog with Honk! pics. I should be getting the Stardust CD from Moezart this week so I'll get around to that too.

 The Frogettes!

Here are a few preview shots till I get more time to upload more. Honk! opened last week and there have been 4 shows so far. ALL were fabulous! I love this show SO very much. I have MANY pictures to post when this is all over.

Tech week was Mon-Wed 5-10pm last week and on Wed Hannah said she was getting a sore throat. The show must go on! She wasn't the only one who was sick plus there were a few injuries on opening night. Then there were 3 people that I know of with allergic reactions on Saturday but everyone pulled together and I'm sure most people never noticed the personal aches & pains these talented kids & adults were suffering with. 

Hannah was a trooper through all 4 shows but by Sunday when she could catch a rest, she said her ear hurt. We went to urgent care & she has an ear infection. Also, the sore throat is better but she still has a runny nose. The next show is tomorrow. They have Wednesday off and then have 4 more shows Thurs-Sat (2 on Sat). I think her voice is still beautiful. She has a small solo of a couple lines and a part where she sings with 5 other girls. Plus the parts she sings in the frog scene,in Poultry Tale with the whole cast and the ending song after bows.
